I’m Kelly Baez, and that was exactly my frustration with weight loss. I had been diagnosed with PCOS, and I had been on yo-yo diets for years. After I had my kids, I had some stubborn weight that I just couldn’t lose – and the doctors said that I couldn’t.
Luckily, I don’t take no for an answer.
I got fed up and started delving into exactly WHY I kept gaining the weight back time and time again. What I discovered was that weight loss isn’t a one size fits all solution, and I started to get down to the building blocks of how to make diet and fitness work with and for individuals and the lives they are living right now – not the ones they try to fit into a fitness routine someone else made for them.
Fast forward to now, I’ve lost the weight, kept it off for years, and now I’m helping other women do the same. That’s why I created FitShrink.

Let’s be clear. I’m not your therapist or your personal trainer. I’m the best of both worlds and I’m going to help you get you healthy.
Are you ready? Here’s what you get.
- One 30 minute coaching call per week by phone.
- Support by text, email, or Messenger between sessions. I highly encourage this. Getting answers to the small questions is the “secret sauce” that you can’t get anywhere else – and it’s essential for your success. This alone is worth the cost of admission.
Confidentiality: While this is not counseling, I honor your confidentiality in the same way. I will not discuss your information with anyone, ever. (The only exception is where it is required by law if you’re thinking of hurting yourself or someone else. This is sort of like the safety demonstration on an airplane–I’m required to say it, but it’s super unlikely to happen.)
What progress can I expect?
This is not a rapid weight loss program. This is a lifestyle program for long term success and health. Typical results are 0.5 to 2 pounds per week, but a lot depends on how much weight you have to lose, what kind of exercise you’re doing, and how well you are eating. I actually don’t want you to lose more than two pounds per week as it’s not healthy or sustainable. You can expect to learn lifestyle strategies you need to continue making consistent, healthy progress toward your goals.
What is the typical time investment?
The initial coaching program is 4 months, although you can certainly do more if you prefer. Additional months of support will ensure that you maintain your healthy lifestyle changes no matter what life throws at you.
What will we talk about?
Whatever is between you and your health goals. This program is completely individualized for your needs. We might consider stress management, sleep, time management, as well as diet and exercise, plus anything else that you think is a barrier. I will listen to your concerns, make recommendations, and we will design a goal map just for you. .
What if I mess up?
That’s totally fine! There’s no such thing as failure. Only an opportunity to learn. Getting off track is actually part of the process. If you get away from your plan, have a hard food day, or choose not to exercise, I want you to tell me so we can work through it together!
What if I go on vacation?
You can choose to keep your appointment or suspend it. We can pick back up the following week. Just let me know at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment.
What is your refund policy?
There are no refunds for sessions that have already passed. Also, no refunds after 4 weeks of starting coaching.
